Advanced no-stitch technique
Advanced lens options
The normal eye has a clear lens inside that allows us to focus light. A cataract is cloudiness in the lens of the eye. This occurs with age and with certain medical conditions.
Cataract surgery is an operation to remove the cloudy lens from the eye and replace it with a synthetic intra-ocular lens implant. This removes the cloudy obstruction and replaces it with a clear lens.

Convenience and Comfort
Our board certified ophthalmologists perform cataract surgery using the most advanced techniques. Typically, we perform cataract surgery in the same location as our office at the state-of-the-art Lakeshore Outpatient Surgery Center. Surgery can be performed under light sedation with no needles and no stitches. There is no need for hospital admission and no need to travel out of town.
