Dr. Fahim offers a broad range of services to patients including cataract surgery, glaucoma management and laser treatment, diabetic eye management, and eyelid surgery.
Dr Fahim has an outstanding academic record, graduating with Honors from University of Michigan. Because of his academic achievements, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in only three years.
Dr. Fahim attended the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. After receiving his Medical Degree, he trained in the department of General Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He then completed residency in Ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute. Dr. Fahim received the "OKAP" award for achieving the top score in the "Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program" Examination. He is widely respected by his peers and considered among the top cataract surgeons in the region. Additionally, Dr. Fahim is a published author on articles regarding cataract surgery.
In addition to seeing patients in Port Huron and Fort Gratiot, Dr. Fahim serves as Clinical Instructor at the Kresge Eye Institute and is faculty member at Wayne State University. Dr. Fahim also provides his surgical expertise to patients in the metro Detroit area. His additional office hours are located in the Lake Lazer Eye Center in Clinton Township. Surgical procedures are performed in the Lake Huron Medical Center in Fort Gratiot, McLaren Hospital in Port Huron, and Ascension Surgery Center in St Clair Shores. Many laser procedures are performed on site at Port Huron Eye Care Institute.
